It is a village where three families live and belongs to the municipality of Pont de Suert (7 km away). It is located in a natural setting of great beauty, sheltered by a large vertical rock that gives it its name.
Only 10 minutes away from the ski & snow slopes of Boí-Taüll, we will also find in the Vall de Boí the churches of Sant Climent and Santa María de Taüll, two of the churches that make up the group of Romanesque churches declared World Heritage Site by Unesco.
Near the National Park of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici and the Balneario de Caldes de Boí, where we find 37 springs of mineral-medicinal waters with therapeutic qualities that make it a unique spa in the world.

Formerly, the village of Sarroqueta was inhabited by six families, of which today only three live there. One of these families lived in the Casa Espana. On the foundations of what was the old Casa Espana, the Flor de Neu - Espana Apartments have been built.
Six of these apartments have been destined to rural tourism for couples. The rest are private apartments.
The apartments are managed by the brothers Manel and Palmira, descendants of the family that lived in the Casa Espana.
